News article in the Washington Post.
Unfortunate, but I believe it’s been studied and proven that things like this tend to happen in times of great crisis, and the Haiti earthquake certainly counts as a great crisis.
Donate a little bit, even if it’s only $5 or some old clothes, to the people of Haiti. They need all the help they can get and more. Yes, we have our own problems here with our own children and homeless and cold, but right now the Haitian people need the help the most. Look up a clothing drive and give away some old tee shirts or jeans, or a canned food drive and send one or two cans of food. If we, one of the richest nations on the planet, cannot help our fellows, whether foreign or domestic, in their crisis, then what good do all our riches amount to?
